Nordic co-operation

The NKJ cooperates with a wide number of Nordic institutes and bodies. The following list encompasses key partners in cooperation under the auspices of the Nordic Council of Ministers (NMR):

 

    The SNS serves the Nordic Council of Ministers in an advisory capacity on forestry issues, and is thus a sister institution to the NKJ. The committees participate in one another's meetings as observers.

 

    is responsible for coordinating activities in the field of plant breeding and the preservation of genetic resources in plant materials within the Nordic countries.

 

    is responsible for coordinating activities relating to the genetic resources of farm animals.

 

 

    was formally established in 1995 in collaboration between the Nordic agricultural universities. NOVA has now been extended to include the Baltic regions.

 

The NKJ is also involved in important collaborative efforts with the following non-governmental organisations:
